Auburn Area Community Theatre Presents
Almost, Maine
Auburn Area Community Theatre presents Almost, Maine, an Almost-Valentines Day comedy at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center, February 6 - 9. On a clear, cold night, as the Norther Lights hover in the star-filled skies above, residents of the tiny town of Almost, Maine find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Our cadre of four directors and case of 22 actors weave a delightful midwinter night's dream about how awkward and funny, painful and sweet falling in love can be. One of the AACT directors, Eli Grant, describes the show as more than a play about relationships. "It is about the beautiful community we find within those relationships. This play feels like a reunion or a homecoming...we can't wait to welcome you to Almost, Maine."
This quirky collection of stories by John Cariani is loved by so many that it is consistently one of the most-produced plays in America. This production is rated PG for brief intimate moments.
This production will be held at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center located at 222 E Drake Avenue in Auburn, Alabama.
