On the night of his 35th birthday, confirmed bachelor, Robert, contemplates his unmarried state. Over the course of a series of dinners, drinks and even a wedding, his friends - "those good and crazy people his married friends" - explain the pros and cons of taking on a spouse. The habitually single Robert is forced to question is adamant retention of bachelorhood during a hilarious array of interactions. Sondheim's game-changing musical is a sophisticated and honest look at modern adult relationships
Performances will be held at Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center at 222 E Drake Avenue in Auburn, Alabama on the following dates: July 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26 at 7 p.m., July 20 and 27 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for children, students and seniors. This show is rated PG13 for depictions of adults situations and use of alcohol/recreational drugs.
