Auburn Area Community Theatre Presents
Sceneworks: A Sampler Platter of Theatre
14 scenes from plays and movies have been curated into a delightful evening of theatre.
Theatrical bites include scenes from the Tony Award-winning drama Rabbit Hole and The Book of Will by Lauren Gunderson (the most produced playwright in America). Add a dash of comedy with the Marx Brothers' A Day at the Races, and a one-man performance of Jurassic Park. Top it off with The Glorious World of Crowns, Kinks, and Curls.
Beginning at 7 p.m., Act One will be FAMILY-FRIENDLY. After a brief intermission, Act Two will continue with SPICY scenes containing strong adult language, from Marriage Story, POTUS, and Gary: The Sequel to Titus Andronicus.
Come join us as we feed our actors and directors with scenes they have selected to share. Sceneworks will be served up as Pay What You Want, but a donation of $8 is suggested.
Performances will be held at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center at 222 E Drake Avenue in Auburn, Alabama.
December 3, 4, & 5 at 7 p.m.
December 6 at 2 p.m.
Act 2 of Sceneworks is rated PG-13 for strong adult language.
Seating is first come, first serve with doors opening 30 minutes before the performance. For patrons requiring special seating for mobility reasons, up to three companion seats can be reserved (see below). More seats than that may be purchased, but will not be reserved in the same area.
